As we move further into the Spring, Vancouver’s housing market is looking as strong as ever, with big gains in metrics across the board. After a February which saw slower listing and sale rates, likely as a result of the season’s inclement weather, a warmer March brought a hotter housing market to Clark County. The Columbian has a recent report that should put a smile on every local homeowner’s face.

Although a Spring thaw is expected around this time of year, March’s numbers represent unusually good news for the markets. In fact, this month saw the most new listings for March since 2008. New listings totaled 1,028, an increase of over 40 percent from February and a year-to-year increase of nearly 4 percent for march. Pending sales saw big games as well: 33.4 percent over February sales and nearly 2 percent compared to March 2018.
